About
Not just a field service biomedical engineer but a department founder
CAD Biomedical Services is an independent biomedical engineering contracting practice serving clinics, dermatology practices, and med spas across Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley.
Prior to founding CAD Biomedical I was hired to create and entire biomedical maintainance and repair program for a large dermatology company. The company had more than 70 locations across the country. The first year saw more than a million dollars in savings from in house repairs vs OEM costs and equipment downtime was reduced from an average of four weeks to four days.
My background spans field service engineering for hospitals, clinics, lighting companies like LumenPulse and Lutron, work for electrical utilities, running and repairing nuclear reactors onboard ships in the Navy. While serving I lead a team of 40 nuclear technicians and operators tasked with building and commissioning two nuclear reactor plants.
